First Baptist Church is affiliated with Texas Baptist (Baptist General Convention of Texas). We also associate with the Guadalupe Baptist Association for local missions. Our church does direct funding of various mission ministries around the world as our part of supporting the Great Commission.
We have services at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The 8:30 service is more traditional, the 11:00 service is more contemporary. Our worship format is back to normal. If anyone feels they may be ill with COVID, we ask them to please stay home and help protect others.
We ask all worshipers to enter the main entrance / drive through off of Gonzales. We have parking along the drive through and in our parking lot across the street. We encourage guests to come to our Coffee Connection coffee bar and enjoy some fresh brew and snacks, and get to meet people. Our services will continue to be livestreamed. At First Baptist Church, we love the Lord and we love one another. Join us for worship one Sunday. We would also love to have you in any of our Bible study or small group classes for children, youth, or adults.
We protect our children with MinistrySafe. We believe children should learn in a safe environment. For this reason, all workers – staff and volunteers – are required to do applications for volunteer service with children, background checks, references and interviews as well as take MinistrySafe training before being allowed to work with children.
